Good stuff! Great story and I really dig your drawing style! my only criticism...and it is more like a douchey quibble/matter of personal taste is the computer lettering--it just seems kind of intrusive in the light of your drawing which has a real charm, we can see your hand in the line-work, it's not all slicked-out mainstreamy bullshit, there's real HEART there...and, to me, the mechanical look of the letters detracts from the charm of the piece. What do you ink with, your line is really lovely but gutsy, too!? And your storytelling is top-notch, great establishing panel at the top of page two, you show just enough of the shop, that restraint, some artists would put too much detail into a panel like that--or not enough! Anyway i'll shut up now, hope you don't think I'm too much of a dick, thanks for the great comic!

All the best!

Wow, thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

You could knock me over with a feather that someone actully looks at my stuff...

to answer you questions, I rough all my stuff out on paper and then scan it and ink it in photoshop, mainly because of my really crappy eyesight.

I will try and find a more organic process of letting my next comic...maybe even doing by hand in photoshop as well..

You could knock ME over with a feather that you ink in Potoshop! I like to think I'm pretty good at detecting digital inks but yours completely tricked me! I dunno, maybe it's 'cause the "lightbox" function on Blogger reproduces the pics so small (that's why I disabled it on my blog!)...?Great job, anyway.
I reckon that if you're process feels right to you (and produces results like this!) then there's nothing that needs changing, is there?!?? Like I said, hand-lettering's just a personal preference, really! Oh and I'm sure you already know but there're a coupla programs that let you create fonts from your own hand-writing...
Anyway, hope you're having a great Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa etc...

All the best!
